I recently bought a used psp 2000 for $40, and I now know why its so cheap, the screen is full of problems and the housing is all scratched so badly that the color got ripped off. I'm gonna buy housing for my PSP for $2 and a Screen for $50, how would I replace these parts and how will I ground myself during the process? How to replace the housing and screen of the PSP 2000?
Grounding is easy, just touch your PC case or a radiator or any piece of earthed metal nearby. Just do that every 5 or so minutes and you'll be fine.
As for replacing the parts... small gizmos like this are notoriously difficult to repair. Your best bet is to find someone who has done it before and pay them.
If you want to have a go yourself simply search for pictures or video tutorials, I'm sure they exist.
