after installing a virus covered as daemoon tools, now i can't load anymore my windows vista, it appears always the blue screen of death, i need to install windows or linux, doesn't matter, but my internal dvd is broken, and i discovered i can't boot an operating system from an external dvd or cd player as my laptop doesn't support this function.
the only think i noticed i can do, is boot from an external hard drive (that i have)
ther question is: what should i put in the external hard drive to allow it's boot?

Hate to say this but your hard drive may well have expired. Others may have solutions to suggest. I hope so, but the old BSOD is one of the indicators of a dead drive.
Having said that. All may not be lost in terms of a machine to use. Join your local Freecycle group and post a wanted ad for a laptop or PC. It's all free. You will need access to a working machine to do this of course, but I imagine you have at least one friend!

Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This problem can be solved by uninstalling new software, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://rgt.in

I failed the dot drug screen and none of the big co. will accept me where can i go with housing 2 get trained
Stay off the pipe.I failed the dot drug screen and none of the big co. will accept me where can i go with housing 2 get trained
sorry to say broke dad could be right . First even if it costs you some money CHECK YOUR DAC -if its on your DAC (this is a private firm that saves info on CDL holders and has to comply with credit reporting rules) you are screwed cause they are like trying to clean up bad credit. The good news is NOT everyone subcribes to DAC as it costs money and the driver shortage is such that there are companys out there that will hire you after you are clean , but the pay AIN';T GONNA BE SO GREAT.I failed the dot drug screen and none of the big co. will accept me where can i go with housing 2 get trained
You can't. If you failed a DOT drug screen you're bad merchandise to the trucking companies. It will probably be something like 2 years before they'll give you a shot.
You need to get into a diversion program for starters and go from there.

When will LCD flat screen tv's or Plasma's drop in price to the point all american houses have them???
I know of no computer that sells with a CRT screen today, they all seem to be shipping with LCD screens 16'; to 20';. LCD TVs for 20'; screen (not high def) are slightly more expensive than normal tube TV sets.20'; LCD screen sell now for about $350 while 20'; CRT TVs start at $170. As yields increase with better manufacturing experience, equipment gets devalued these prices will fall and start displacing CRTs. Historically the rate has been about 20-30% per year proce drop. [1]
Look out for other technologies that may displace Plasma and CRT, such as OLED displays improving in technology and SED displays with much lower manufacturing costs from Toshiba due to be rolled out this year with 55'; displays. [2]When will LCD flat screen tv's or Plasma's drop in price to the point all american houses have them???
I hav read recently about a new type coming in the early 2008.
Its called Laser TV
They say that it would have almost half the price of an LCD or a Plasma TV and it would be very light so that you can transport it from a room to another
Also, they say that it would hold colors 4 times as much as a Plasma or LCD.
But because it is laser, the lamp has a limited life of 50,000 hours. But that's still good coz it means that if the TV is on 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, it would stay in a house for almost six years without any problems. Then you would buy another one.
The laser tv would definitely be a great success, and it would have such a good price to a point that every American, European, or even Asian house would own one. When will LCD flat screen tv's or Plasma's drop in price to the point all american houses have them???
when a new type comes out...Watch for it ( the next 2 years)

Should congress, both houses, be required to do random drug screens?
If its good enough for everyone else, why not them.Should congress, both houses, be required to do random drug screens?
Well, in the spirit of maintaining a balanced budget, I think we've established well enough that they're all on crack - so why spend the extra dough?Should congress, both houses, be required to do random drug screens?
Wow - I like this idea. Hey, I had to do it for 20 years in the military, why not them?
It'd be a quick way to get drug legalization passed, too.
good point! They are public servants right? And with Kennedy around I want drug and sobriety tests for every vote. If you fail your test, your vote doesn't count. I like it!!
No,
there wouldn't be enough congressmen left to form a quorum.
How about sanity tests?
Or ethics tests?
well i would have pelosi take one becuase their has to be a reason she is the way she is
Amen! They exempt themselves from all the laws they pass. Do you think any Kennedy would make it to the floor?
Yes, they should.
Are you suggesting that we shut down the Govt when they all come up dirty?dry hair

Does anyone know when either House M.D season three is screened in uk or grey's anatomy season 2?
Greys Anatomy is already on Living TV. You might catch a repeat of the first one this week. I think it is on Thursday at 10 or something.Does anyone know when either House M.D season three is screened in uk or grey's anatomy season 2?
House Season 3 february 2007.
Grey's Anatomy Season 2 starts April 2007.
The first season originally contained 13 episodes, representing ABC's original midseason order for the show. However, it was decided to end the season early because ABC executives wished for the show's first season to end with ABC's Desperate Housewives (which had the timeslot before Grey's Anatomy for the first two seasons). Rather than condensing or throwing out plotlines, Grey's Anatomy producers chose to end the season with the ninth episode and save the following episodes for the second season. Episodes 10-13 were then held and broadcast as the first four episodes of Season 2. ABC ordered 22 episodes in addition to the four being carried over, bringing the total number of episodes for the second season to 26. The count apparently does not include the recap specials ';Straight From The Heart'; and ';Under Pressure';; however, a 27th original episode was eventually added to the season. ';Bring the Pain,'; which aired as the series' 14th episode, has been cited in series creator Shonda Rhimes' blog as having been originally intended as the first season finale.
