Near the top? Or in the middle of the picture?
If it's top, then that can be your vertical circuit capacitors.... or SMPTE time codes showing up in the sync bar, that would require a vertical height adjustment.
In the middle could be your screen controls need adjustment or your vertical caps or vertical IC could be bad.....My tv has tree faint lines across the screen why the other tvs in the house are ok which come of the same aril
then the tv that the problem is occuring on has a bad connection in the coxial aerial, the easiest way to sort it is to but a ready made one form the shop, they are only about 拢3, or it could be the splitter box that you are using that has the fault. My tv has tree faint lines across the screen why the other tvs in the house are ok which come of the same aril
Other TVs?
How many others and how far is your TV from the aerial?
The signal may be losing a lot of strength between the aerial and your TV. You can correct this with a signal amplifier from most electrical retailers - Maplins do a good range.
It will also depend on the quality of the cable between the aerial and the TVs - if your cable is cheap, it's probably losing too much signal.
Try disconnecting the other TVs from their aerial leads to see if your picture improves. If not, then try connecting your TV to one of the other aerial leads.
If the picture is still bad, try connecting your TV to the aerial cable. And if it's still bad after that, take the TV to your local TV repair shop. They'll advise you if it can be fixed or if you'd be better off replacing it.
If there are a few diagonal white lines across the screen then the brightness is turned up too far. If it can't be sorted with the remote then you'll have to get someone who knows what they are doing to take the back off the TV and tweak it.
Tha normally happens when someones using an appilance of some sort near by,, such as the radio etc etc
Just make sure theres no interefence from any other sources
