No. we put window screens in to let fresh air in the house.If it is humid and hot out then a window screen will not help.Keep outside doors closed,use a window shade or heavy curtain.This will block sunlight better. Run an air conditioning unit to blow cold air.....and some well placed fans to circulate the air.
