I went to change the channel and forgot to select the Satellite guide first... It went to this grainy screen which it has done before, but now it wont change off of it. I have tried shutting it off, pressing buttons, yadda yadda... I have no idea what to do. It is a Bellvue or whatever it is called I believe. Any help would be appreciated!I am house sitting, and the satellite TV stopped working. It is currently showing a grainy screen.?
Well if it is direct tv, then there should be a box of some sort near the tv. I think it should have a card in it. Well first turn it all of, unplug the tv I think it is, and then take the card out. Then plug it back in, put the card in, and turn the tv on. Sorry if that doesnt work. Usually t.v's using cable or satellite need to be set to channel 3 to receive. Sounds like you accidently changed it. Try %26amp; change the TELEVISION back to channel three. It's different than changing the cable station to channel three.
try calling the company tech support.
