The top of the dry will lift up. Just do that and see if u can see your keys. If u have long arms reached down and pick them up. U may have to remove the shut going down. If so u will have to remove the back and remove the chute. Your keys should be there. If u don't want to do that get a long metal rod that is strong and stick it down the chute. When it touch the keys just pull the rod back up and there is your key on the end of the rod. If this all fail just get real mad and pick the F U C K I N G dryer up side down and shake it real hard.. the keys will fall out. Then write a letter to Maytag and tell them what a F U C K up machine they sell. Don't let any women watch as u shake it because they will get real excited and u will have to stop doing that and take care of that woman. Now u go and get those keys and be able to get into your house. If that all fails to work do this. Go and get another set of those key you keep in your dresser drawer. Now u can get into your house to do all I just told u to do.

Take your other house key to the hardware store and have extra keys made. Use a magnetic pickup extension tool found at auto parts stores for retrieving nuts and bolts dropped down into engine cavities etc. Make sure to unplug the power cord first.As I lifted the lint screen out of my maytag dryer i saw my house key fall down inside How do I get it out?
I have used a vacumn cleaner wand... be sure the appliance is unplugged
The simplest thing (still a pain in the rear) is to pull it out so that you can get behind it. Remove the back (you'll need a screwdriver to do this). Make sure it's UNPLUGGED FIRST !





Have a flashlight ready ... you'll be able to reach in there towards the front of the dryer ... it'll be pretty dusty in there ... Unplug it first, OK ! ?!?
