Every time I press that little house button on my wii I have to get the mouse on the screen and it doesnt show

like when I press the home button which has a little house on it.The screen shows reset or wii menu and like you have to get the mouse on the screen to select something and every time I wave the wii remote around the stupid sensor bar doesnt pick up the signal and yes my batteries are new and full and the sensor is plugged in properlyEvery time I press that little house button on my wii I have to get the mouse on the screen and it doesnt show
make sure there is no dust on your sensor. move back wave the remote at the screen. or move forward and see if it comes up. if it works fine in games then it will work now. if you are playing two player then try the other controller. just point it at the screen and wave it around.Every time I press that little house button on my wii I have to get the mouse on the screen and it doesnt show
