Use an old sock or an old rag, or if you have glasses use the cloth that came with that. I would run down to the computer shop and buy screen cleaner wipes though, they are like a dollar a pack.

Also a dryer sheet is helpful, I've been using them on my electronics for a while....the Anti-Static properties, keep dust from sticking.

it would depend on what type of monitor you have if you have an old style type the big bulky monitors that are using a CRT you can use a usual household polish but some monitors cannot be cleaned and you should not do so.





if you have a LCD that has a glass screen use just a duster, its ok to use a specific one just for that purpose, for the rest of the system remember to use a small amount of household polish but spray the cloth not the computer!





and wipe considerately, you can do the same for your mouse.





so find our what type of monitor you have, and use the least invasive means to clean you computer, try to keep your keyboard covered when not in use this will help to keep dust getting in between the keys.





so treat your electronics with care, they last longer that way!
Try a bit of velvet, but don't use mum's good skirt or dresss
if you have glasses, then the cloth you use to clean them is suitable for the computer screen.


Other than that an old sock and water.....
i am not sure wat kind of laptop u have. some have a ';vynaly'; screen while some have glass...vynal use water and glass use glass n dsurface cleaner 409
