What are good questions to ask to screen house cleaners?

Im thinking of hiring a house cleaner and I want to screen the companies. Have thought about the Insurance question, do they have references, can I call the references...is there anything else anyone can add? ThanksWhat are good questions to ask to screen house cleaners?
Ask if they are insured, bonded and licensed if your state requires licensing.

Ask for references and call on them.

Ask who will be in your home, do they have a police clearance and background check on all employees.

Ask where will your key be kept between cleaning visits?

Ask pricing and policy for extra duties and price for special cleanings. What are good questions to ask to screen house cleaners?
Are there any limitations or things that they will not do? Windows for instance. Cleaning up very nasty toilets or vomit?

To what extent do thier services cover and how much will it cost?

Do they charge by the job or by the hour?

I think you get the idea...
my sister runs a cleaning company, although the company itself is important, the most important thing is the cleaner they allocate to you, once you have found one that does a good job, will they make sure you get the same person every time.

Then on the first clean, plant some fluff/dust behind the sofa, in a corner, under some ornaments and on skirting board. A good cleaner will never miss this!
get names of people they work for know so you can call them amd ask how well of a job they do.
