It depends, if the screen is LCD never use WINDEX you're gonna damage it, use a non abrasive and alcohol free cleaner or use just a humid flanel or soft towel with water to clean it, if the screen is a normal one CFT use the WINDEX and a paper towel.Whats the best thing to use to clean the computer screen that you could have in your house?
windexWhats the best thing to use to clean the computer screen that you could have in your house?
a damp warm cloth and mild hand soap, not a wet cloth. Then wipe the soap clean from the screen with a damp cloth not wet.
The way I do it is I take a paper towel and spray it with windex, then wipe off the grime on puter with the paper, then take another paper towel and dry off.
Hope this helps.
Windex
mild dish soap and a soft cloth especially if it's a LCD monitor
you don't need to buy any of those expensive screen cleaners
Just about anything, windex, soap and water. Just don't spray it directly on the screen, spray it on the rag, and just dampen the rag, don't soak it. Use an old t-shirt or other ';soft'; cotton rag. Nothing abrasive.
Water or other cleaning liquids can damage monitors if allowed to get down inside.
I found that a dry, used, fabric softener sheet, the kind you just toss in your clothes dryer works really good.
Nothing like an old T-shirt and warm water!

uz a damp paper towel
Lint free cloth with water directly on the cloth, not the screen, and a drop or two of mild detergent. Be sure to shut of the monitor first.
Well its not in a house but I bought this amazinggg screen cleaner but you have to order it online.
Wipe it with one of those cloths that you use to clean of eye glasses... they won't hurt the screen so long as you don't push to hard...
Endust for Electronics or simply Windex -- but turn the computer off first AND use a lint-free rag instead of a paper towel.
UNPLUG before you do any of the above. Here is another option: Lint free cloth with a small amount of vinegar. This is what the military use because it will remove grease marks with very little effort but again beware of using too much because electrics and liquids do not mix.
Keep smiling.
