Where can i get green screen software for my house?

There really isn't a such thing as ';green screen software';. The process is called chromakey by most applications and is now integrated into more advanced video editing applications. Depending on your skill level (and budget) there are many options.

The simplest that I have seen for most people is called Pinnacle Studio. Their software has come a long way in the last couple years. Though you will have to buy either the plus or ultimate package from them to get the ';green screen'; feature, I believe they include a green backdrop for free.

The Avid product line, though more complex, offers significantly more control over the chromakey process, but if you are looking to save some money, you can stick with the Avid Liquid series.

Ultrakey is another popular program, but it really isn't for video editing, rather it specializes in custom motion backgrounds.

Either way good luck.

A couple of things to note:

- Make sure the lighting is as even as possible on the green screen

- try to use a 3CCD camera when filming on a geenscreen (if you can afford it)

- If you go with a green material, rather than a true greenscreen, make sure that it is free of creases or wrinkles as these are harder to take care of in post-production on cheaper programs.Where can i get green screen software for my house?
