Reason for the reduced screen time of the original team in House, MD?

Does anyone know if there was a reason for the reduced screen time of Cameron and Chase in season 4 on? Since Foreman has stayed, and seems to have a similar role, I was wondering if it had to do with Jennifer Morrison and/or Jesse Spencer... Or was it just a desire to shake the show up? Anyway, thanks!Reason for the reduced screen time of the original team in House, MD?
I think that the writers felt like a change. They felt that Chase, Cameron and Foreman had already learnt as much as possible from House. Also, in the real world, having a medical internship, or whatever they have, would be very unrealistic if it lasted longer than three years. The good news is, that must mean the new team will get kicked off next season cos it will be their third year??? I hope so anyway. Foreman is still working for House cos Cuddy offered him his job back after getting fired somewhere else and having limited choices to choose from (as you probably already know)

I don't think it has anything to do with Jennifer and Jesse, they both have said that they want more screen time and it was a writers' decision, not their own. So yeah, I guess you could say it was a desire to shake the show up lol. They also wanted to show us what they were like as people, not working for House, which in my opinion, was a very stupid idea!!!!Reason for the reduced screen time of the original team in House, MD?
Hmmm. I'm actually not sure! Maybe they just didn't feel Cameron and Chase weren't that important anymore. Haha. I do wish they would show more of the old team though! It's not that i don't like the new team, I guess I just miss the old one!
I never understood that either and don't know the answer unfortunately. I don't like the knew team, especially 13 is giving me a headache. It's gotten worse now that the original team is gone ... but kinda still there ... it's just all up in the air :(
